Download this Free Archery Target School History Resource Azincourt Colouring Sheet
The life-size sculpture of the first English Archer is now complete and here are two, line drawings of it from the front and from the back, which can be used in interesting ways to teach children and young people about the Medieval Battle of Azincourt.
Here are a few ideas of how you might use this drawing for Primary school Medieval history pictures, Secondary School projects on Azincourt, and for an exciting target competition for a junior Archery Club section.
Primary School Resource
For children aged 5 to 8 years, you can use this as a colouring-in sheet for a history project. Children will need to find similar pictures to see the colours of their armour and equipment.
Secondary School Resource
Use this for projects about Azincourt, to illustrate details of the Archers equipment and dress. Ask the young people to name each item of clothing and each piece of equipment shown on the picture
Archery Club Juniors Resource
Use in your Archery Club Junior Section as an exciting target. Pin them up on the centre of your normal target boss for an exciting archery competition to see who has the best aim.
