The Azincourt Archer’s sword needs a lot of detail and here is progress this week:
Now the sword is roughed in, the belt and sort hanger must be organised so the weight of the sword appears to be hanging from the belt. This means a lot of accurate cutting back behind the head of the sword, to define a realistic hanging angle.
After 2 week’s work, the basic form of the sword is now ready for the detailed work to begin…
